Caprock Dive Club
Diving...it's Contagious
Just a reminder that the
Caprock Dive Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at Logan's Roadhouse
backroom at 6pm"ish". The dive club is a place for divers to meet and
socialize in an open, friendly environment. The club welcomes all divers
(and those who want to be divers!) whether you are an experienced diver, new
diver or new to the area diver. Unlike most dive clubs, Caprock Dive Club
does not charge a membership fee. In addition to the events sponsored by
CDC, as a active member in the club, you will also be eligible to receive
discounts on scuba purchases at the BEST Little Dive Shop in Texas!

Dive for DAN
Have you ever wanted to

Annual night dive treasure hunt event (all proceeds benefiting Divers Alert
Network - DAN)

Saturday, May 16th (9PM”ish”)
Where:
Balmorhea State Park
Cost:
$20 donation (cash/check
only – non refundable, meals served are an additional charge with proceeds also
going to DAN)
The Gibralter Group is
again donating food for our annual dinner before the treasure hunt. The
proceeds from the dinner also go to DAN. Those who want to enjoy food and
drink can pay (separate donation than the treasure hunt donation) for the meal
at the event, but please let us know if you
are planning on eating by MAY 8, 2009 so that we can make sure to have
enough food for everyone.
TRAVEL NEWS
Well, the summer trips
to Bonaire and
Cozumel trip were real hits. We had over 25 divers and non-divers enjoying
shore diving, drift diving, night diving and great diving. So, if you
